The Poland-based company is best known for the original Dead Island games, the Call of Juarez series, and most recently for Dying Light and its expansion Dying Light: The Following - the game has been played by over 10 million unique players to date.

In 2016 Techland became a global video game publisher under the brand of Techland Publishing. At the beginning of 2017 the company published Torment: Tides of Numenera – a successor to the all-time classic Planescape: Torment – to a great critical acclaim.
